How do I get a warranty covered repair

Scotty,

My wife has a 2017 Ford Escape Titanium and the check engine light came on about a week ago. I went to my local O'Reilly store and used there ODBII scanner and there was only a misfire on cylinder #3. After I attempted to get live data from it the link ght went out but the code is still tripped on the scan tool. The vehicle has less than 50k miles on it and was purchased as previously owned with a bumper to bumper warranty on it to 110k miles. It even covers seals, gaskets and covers...

Now, my question is should I have the dealer or mechanic, I'm in Reno, NV - do you by any chance know of a mechanic I can trust here, check it out or just not worry about it as it never seems to miss are hesitate when driving??

I love your videos and have used lots of your advice to do my own work on my families cars and teach my kids how to do their own vehicle work... I'm now teaching my son in law that never did anything with his own hands on a car...

Looking forward to your advice on this, thanks Scotty.

check it out or just not worry about it

check it out.

Misfiring is harmful to the engine.
