Car locks itself

I have a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 6.2L Denali with the 8 speed transmission. I am currently having door locking issues. When I press the unlock button it keeps locking back on its own immediatly, so when I get in the truck I have to open the door really fast after unlocking to keep from it locking back up too fast. Then once I am in the car, the whole time I am driving the doors keep automatically locking (even though they are already locked) about every 30 seconds. On top of that, my trailer lights act funky when hooked up to my truck, but when I hook it up to my dads 2012 silverado they act just fine. Wondering what both of these problems could be?

Well, somehow it keeps getting a signal to lock itself so I would assume this probably something wrong in the body control module that ultimately controls that system

could be a bad switch, or some faulty wires (usually the door harness).

Check through the settings in your DIC. It might be set to lock automatically when in gear, or while moving or something like that (and it's getting a faulty signal). Changing the setting might help.
