AC blows warm

My ac works fine when it's cold outside but when the outside temperature gets higher, the ac won't blow cold air. Before I take it in anywhere, is there something else I can check on my own? I've heard there was a recall on the ac condenser for this model. Is that the issue?

ACs on recent Honda’s are quite bad.

As far as the condenser warranty extension, here’s the info on that:

But a lot of the time it’s not leaking, it’s just a poorly built AC system (according to Honda themselves):

I’d go in for an inspection and pray that it’s just a leaky condenser, something that’s covered under warranty or that it’s just low on refrigerant.

Otherwise, I’d go to multiple places and get estimates. AC repair can be VERY expensive and I think it’s best to do it a place that warranties their work.

Im just realizing that the cabin air filter matters- my ac wasnt up to par however that isnt what got my attn to the filter, just change it! Maybe it will help, it helped mine!!

UNLESS your filter is genuinely very dirty, the filter can not affect the operation of the A/C that much.
Just follow the manufacturer recommended cabin air filter replacement interval (or quite honestly even every oil change, Filters are just folded pieces of paper - should cost only a few bucks, the fanciest snake-oil non-sense rip off ones are like $20 at worst).
