My impala runs great and drives great except when at a red light the car slightly shakes. I have take my car to 3 different dealerships and all say my car is fine and that they don’t feel ANY shaking at all. The Chevy dealership said they put my car on the computer and the engine was fine. I asked about a tune-up and they claim it should not need a tune-up either. Car has 89000 miles on it. I bought it at 87000 miles. What could possibly be the reason for this shaking when idle?

DO YOU MEAN THEY SCANNED YOUR COMPUTER? MY car also shaking, so follow my advice. I REMOVED engine oil completely, let it drain overnight, you will be surprised the dirt that comes out at the end. also do that for the transmission fluid. clean your oil sensor. the next day, buy original fluids from your dealrship. oils must be oem, there is no exception. changed all your filters with oem new, also put the exact quantity. NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS. after that start your car, you shouldnt have anymore shaking or vibration. that worked for me. if you still have shaking that means you have a short somehwere messing up with your electronic. NOW, i know its complicated, but if you dont mind spending a few buck for a new coolant, by all means, replaced your dirty coolant with brand new coolant. scotty has posted several videos explaning how bad coolant can short things out in your car, it doesnt cost at all. doing this you will have better changed to know exactly what your vehicles has
