2017 IS300 - 25,000 miles
I’ve noticed that when driving using manual mode, the transmission will shift hard, especially when downshifting. When using full auto, it shifts perfectly fine, very smooth. Any ideas as to why it would shift poorly in m-mode but shift fine in auto? It isn't so bad that I felt I should take it somewhere to have it looked at but its definitely noticeable. Could this be normal and should I worry about it?

Any codes? What’s the level & condition of the ATF?
Well if it's just fine and full automatic mode there's nothing wrong with the transmission itself but those manual modes are kind of oddball you might try to find a similar Lexus to drive and see if it acts the same because they do shift a little bit odd manual for my experience
