Hey Scotty, what are your opinions on getting a 2017 lexus rx350 pre owned with 38k miles for $25,000? It has the 8 speed automatic and you said they weren't good. Do you still think it is a good vehicle even with the 8 speed automatic transmission? Are there any problems on this model lexus based on your experiences working on them?
No they are still very good vehicles if you don't mind the price May I'm too cheap to pay that kind of money for a car I wait until they're 10 12 years old but I am for less than a third of that
That transmission has been out a while on those Toyota usualy fixes transmission issues after a couple years.
It is fine. The 8-speed on the RX350 (called the Aisin AWF8F35) has been used on the RX350 since 2013 (initially in the Fsport version), and they’ve made so many from 2013-2017 that Toyota would have worked out the kinks.
