How do I add keyless entry to my Silverado

Thanks for all you do for us. I enjoy your videos. My question is: I have purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado Crew cab with 50k miles. It is a 4wd. It does not have keyless entry. I would like to have that feature. I do not want to go with an aftermarket system because they have to cut into the wire harness. I have been researching this and I think all it needs is for a dealer to program the body control computer to accept this. I checked and I have the TPMS/Remote entry module already installed in the truck from the factory. Should I just go with aftermarket? or Keep looking for a dealer to reflash the module and or computer.  Otherwise this has been a nice truck.

It does have power windows and power locks. But does not have the keyless entry build code.

Personally , I would live without it. OEM solution will be prohibitively expensive. And aftermarket solutions will just add more problems and unreliability down the road.

I would like to add keyless entry to this 2013 Chevrolet Silverado WT. 50K miles, does not have the keyless entry code in the build sheet. It does have the tmps/rke module. I would like to go with Factory/Oem and not have to splice wires.

Yes, that is what I am thinking I will do. I tend to keep vehicles for a long time. I will keep looking, but I have just about given up. The truck is solid as it is.

You will wind up having to splice some wiring whether you go GM or aftermarket. I never recommend it because you invite all kinds of problems.

I think anytime you splice wires on a computer operated car you are asking for trouble. Anytime a friend has an electrical problem my first question is normally has anyone been in there before?

Thanks for the responses.
