A 2017 Nissan Murano had its transmission replaced last year under warranty at 40K miles. I took it for an oil change and they recommended to change the fluid in the transmission and rear differential. I only opted for the rear differential service since it had not been done. The car has 50K miles. Should the transmission fluid been changed also even it has been in service for 10K miles? It has a V6, CVT transmission, Platinum trim level.

Nissan's Jatco CVTs are known to be very weak, but 10K fluid change is more aggressive than needed. Probably 20K to 30K miles would be the ticket.
