Hey Scotty, I’m thinking of buying a 2017 Nissan Rogue S AWD from a dealer, car has 36,000 miles and comes with a warranty until 80,000 or 8 years, price is $12,995, I’m not planning on keeping this car for no more then 2-3 years tops, and I don’t do any long trips. what are your thoughts?

If you don't live somewhere where you need AWD it's a waste of money. And unless you have your heart set on that one car I beat you can find something better for a lot less. Pro tip: Try to avoid buying cars from dealers all your doing is paying more and those warranties are straight garbage and most of the time they won't even honor them when something does break. Check Autotempest.com for better cars and better deals.

Thank you for your feed back, yes this makes absolute sense 😉

Low mileage like that and only keeping it 2-3 years, sure. It's not gonna break just like that unless the previous owner abused the poor little thing. Just you are gonna lose some value over it, but all cars do really.

Thank you for your response 🙂

Warranty does not mean anything.
avoid that car with that price. Do yourself a favor and buy a toyota or lexus.

Not really sure what these guys are talking about. That’s gotta be a salvage title, that’s too good of a price. I had a 2014 Nissan Rogue with 91,000 miles that I totaled 4 months ago and the insurance company gave me $13,500 for it. I never had any problems with it either.

@joseph
Ok gotcha, makes sense, I will do some more research 🧐
