You stated that before you replace your car battery that you first install a MEMORY KEEP ALIVE SYSTEM . My question is do I connect this to the new battery before installation or the old battery before removing it from the battery compartment ? Your viseo did not explain this procedure.

Most of them connect to the OBD2 port. Some plug into the cigarette lighter, though that only works on a car where the lighter socket is live when the ignition is off.
