Hi Scotty.
I have a 2017 Toyota Camry SE 2.5L with 61,000 miles. I had spotted a oil leak under the car. I used UV dye to locate the leak and discovered it was coming from the rear main seal. I changed the oil and used the AT-205 product as seen in your video, and the leak stopped. It's only been a few days, still no leak. Yeah!
But I wonder if this is a final solution. Do you think the main seal will eventually need replacement? I also thought it might be a good idea to stock up on the AT-205. But it is completely out of stock everywhere. I heard it is supply chain issues. Any thoughts to a course of action?
Thanks for all you do in sharing your knowledge with all of us.
Sincerely
Papa Ron
If you had ATT 205 resale every time you change the oil it will probably be a permanent fixed
The AT205 is just an investment in the Titanic. The main seal needs to be replaced.
no it's not you just masked the problem for a short period of time
