Last summer my 2018 Camry's 2 center AC vents stopped blowing. The other vents worked normally. Before I got around to getting it fixed, the damn things started working normally again. Now, this summer, just the left top AC vent isn't working. Does anyone have any quick fix ideas? It isn't under warranty but it would be nice to know what can be done. I do have a decent Toyota only private shop that can dig into the dash if necessary but I fear the labor cost a bit.
Cabin air in a Camry comes in just below the windshield. In NH, acorns, leaves, etc. get into the system: most get trapped by the filter though some get past the filter (how I can't imagine, but the impeller grinding against the acorns is an obnoxious sound).
I suspect the hoses to the center vents are clogged with junk. I have no idea how long it will take to clean them out, but you probably have to do it if you want air flow in the center of the car. and if you can figure out a way to keep air flowing but acorns and leaves out of the system, please tell me how to do it myself.
