Well if it didn't hesitate before you had that installed I would advise taking out because it caused a problem. But if the problem was there before and has only gotten worse from my experience with those, it's normally transmission failure on nose. I'd have that check first

To fix it permanently the valve train needs to be overhauled and the computer reprogrammed.
