so my manual says use 93 premium, but underneath it says if premium grade is not avaliable 87 may be used but emissions and power may be affected. Does this mean I can somewhat regularly run 87 or even midgrade as premium is so expensive and i get 14mpg. Its a RWD too....

According to the manual, it is recommended not required, so you can use lower grade fuels as well.
