- Hey there Scotty! Just purchased a certified pre owned 2018 cx5 touring with 43000mi for $21500 (not including fees, taxes, etc....). Thoughts on the car? I made sure I got the 2.5L naturally aspirated automatic based on your recent videos about mazda. I am 30 and would love this car to last me a loooooong time

Well so far they should be pretty good cars I would not have paid that much though
Thanks Scotty! What would have been a price that you would have paid? This is my first car or this caliber so I would like to know if I got taken to the cleaners on this purchase

Good purchase! Though the price is somewhat high, the engines and transmissons of newer Mazda's are good and you should have a good experience with it. With the CPO, you get a warranty which should cover things if some defects happen early on. I would say it would last 10-15 years easily.
