2018 Ram 2500 Cummins 6.7l diesel. AT. 38k mi. Code P 2043. Scotty this code popped up. I have a Autel scanner and this code says it's "permanent". I,ve drained and flushed the def once and the code went away for a year. Now it's back and I did the same flush and it's says permanent code and won't reset. Any suggestions? T.u.
You can't clear permanent codes. The underlying problem needs to be repaired and when the computer sees the problem is gone the code will be removed automatically.
