Hi Scotty, is it ok to start a hybrid rolling in EV mode first thing in the morning or the it is better to start the combustion engine first for a better lubrication..some people say when starting the combustion engine you should wait like 10/15 seconds before taking off so that the oil can reach the components. Could you advise me on that . Thanks
Well it's only shaking what the regular gasoline engine running so I would check things like spark plugs, air filter. See why it's shaken when it's running. You even have to check stuff like see if a motor mount is broken which would make it shake when the gas engine is running

Oh it doesn't really matter. The engine has to start up sometime and it doesn't need to warm up really unless it's 40 below outside

Hi Scotty, my 2018 Toyota Auris 1.8 hybrid 30 K miles on it shakes (just for a second)when i put it in gear D N P. It does it only when the combustion engine is on.It does not happen in EV mode.Other then that it runs perfectly. The scanner does not throw any transmission code. Is it something that I should worry about? I appreciate your feed back.
