Mechanic error

Hi. Had an engine replaced at a dealership that offered used engine with a warranty. Approximately 7000. 06 Nissan Frontier. Over 220000 miles. A couple of days after I get it I notice white or light gray smoke from exhaust. That went in for two days. Then one night the transmission cooler line came off. Mechanic admitted he missed the worn line and clip, but the dealership didn’t want to accept any responsibility. I called and emailed without any response. What would you do?

Thanks!

Well I would get it in writing what they have done where they admitted it because the transmission could have damage now too. And you shouldn't get smoke coming out of that engine. That's a used engine. Who knows what shape it's in
