I have a 2019 Chevy Spark with a little over 37,000 miles. I’ve noticed that when I crank the car it idles just over 2000 RPM and over the course of at least one minute it slowly comes down to 1000 RPM and one minute later it finally settles in around 6-700 RPM and stays there. This has changed over the past 3-4 months. Usually I would crank it, there would be a quick jump, and it would settle in between 6-700 RPM in just a few seconds. I know I’m probably stressing over nothing but it’s a noticeable change, I don’t know much about cars, and (because of bad car experiences in the past) I tend to stress the small stuff.
Thanks everyone!
