2019 Chevy Tahoe Transmission problem. Shifting weird. Shop wants to replace it. Anything I can do short of that?
Apparently it's a known issue.

What do you mean by "shifting weird"? You might want to check for any TSBs and recalls pertaining to that vehicle.
@chucktobias TSB = technical service bulletins. i.e. defects the manufacturer found that cause problems and customer complaints. You can find them on the NHTSA website.
