What happened to my Civic when I jumped the curb

so i have a 2019 honda civic lx 2.0 liter cvt with 22,000 miles on the odometer. I bought it brand new and i am the first and only owner. So i was in a parking lot going  3-4 miles an hour and i went over a curb at an angle, not straight on, that was about maybe 3-4 inches high. This was the first time doing this and i was worried that it might have done damage to the control arms or something. Did i do any damage to my car? I heard a slight scraping noise when going over it.

I can't really use xray vision to see your car through the internet, but I'm guessing you scraped the bottom of your bumper. And depending what kind of wheels you have, you may have dented/scraped the rims, and maybe pinched the tire sidewall. At that low speed I wouldn't expect any structural damage, but you would notice that while driving.

If you're really interested to know, then why don't you jack up the vehicle and see for yourself.

Apart from you having a mini heart attack & maybe needing new underwear, I don’t think you did any serious damage to your car. Maybe just the underside scraping like you heard.

The ground clearance of your Civic is 6inches with 16inch rims & 55 profile tyres, so at such a low speed, I don’t think any damage was done at all (check your tyres though, as Joe mentioned).

Always pay full attention to the road, it’s the easiest way to prevent unnecessary $$$ repairs..
