Hi Scotty , my van started burning oil more than usual. It’s a Mercedes Vito 119 CDI 190 bhp and 212K miles on it. Oil has been charged every 10k km (6200 miles- longlife full synthetic) . Before it burned like 500 ml every oil change , now it has doubled. What could it be . It’s been driven 95% on a freeway. Other than that it’s all good, your feedback is greatly appreciated
Newer Mercedes. It does not surprise me. Do you use quality oil and filters? Check this out and see if it helps

You are welcome. Newer diesel engines are not what they used to be years ago. In cars their compression ratio is same as in petrol ones.
So 1L (~1 quart) every oil change. It's not the end of the world. Just keep it topped up.
