Hey Scotty, I have a 2019 Nissan Armada. Do you have any suggestions about transmission maintenance? Not having any problems, but I dont see any scheduled tranny maint in the owners manual. The dealership suggest a flush at 60K miles. Ive always avoided flushing transmissions and just drained amd filled in the past. Any advice you can offer will be greatly appreciated
Good idea, stick with just drain and fill. 60K miles is a good interval to do that if it doesn't specify in the owner's manual.
Agree 100%. I do mine about 40-45k. Drain and fill. I have never had an autotrani failure in the last 40 years. Highest mileage car was a 99 VW passat, sold it with 210k no trani issues.
Unfortunately the 19 armada uses the 7 speed with no dip stick so it is drained from the bottom and also filled from the bottom and when setting the fluid level is is very important to monitor fluid temp while doing it. Not the easiest do it yourself flush but it is possible would just need a fluid pump
