Try looking for a Ford Crown Victoria, Lincoln Grand Marquise, Lincoln Town Car, Mercury Marauder. You can easily find these under $3,000. They are built like tanks and are very reliable. These can often be found with much lower mileage than any $3K Honda or Toyota.

Look for Mazdas. Pretty good long life and much less to buy than Toyota and Honda
