Hi Scotty, love the channel, would appreciate your comments on an issue I am having with my car.
I have a 2005 Lexus Rx300 which has covered 127,000 miles since new. Has been serviced every year. I have owned it for two months.
Start sounds rough.
Live data from cold at idle shows:
Long fuel trim1 = -10.1 STEADY
Short fuel trim 2 = 0 up to 2 fluctuating
Long fuel trim 2 = - 10.1 Steady
Then when warm after 30 mins or so at idle
Short fuel trim 1= 3.9 up to 4.7 fluctuations
Long fuel trim1 = -7.8
Short fuel trim2 = 6 to 8 fluctuating and slowly creaps up as the car gets warmer after 40 mins was showing reading of between 7.8 and peaking at 9
Long fuel trim 2 = -7.0
Maf = 0.438
TP = 16.1
Load_PCT = 15.3
ETC (f) = 203
Engine idles constantly around 700 rpm even when warm.
02 sensor perhaps?
There are no fault codes.
Well it's running rich you're going to have to figure out why start by cleaning the maf sensor and pressure cleaning the fuel injectors or paying mechanic to pressure clean them
great, much appreciated.
