Scotty,

We luv your show I have a few cars I've seen in the past month and have a 10 k budget. All are Automatic with AWD

I wonder what you think about the following vehicles, mileage and price.

2010 VW Tiguan AWD Automatic 84k miles for 7,995

2008 Toyota RAV 4 AWD 103k miles, for 8,495

2010 Honda CRV 111k miles for 9,495

2009 Subaru Forester 2.5x, 92k for 6,695

Or go with a 1998 Chevy Malibu, 12k miles for 3995.

This is a dealer we know personally for 20 years and purchased from in the past... actually still have a 2005 ford explorer I purchased from him in 2007 has almost 200k and still runs like a champ.

Please advise which vehicle will give e more banged fir my buck...

PS: we also will drive this vehicle to Florida and back once per year and I drive about 30 minutes to work and back but my husband will use as a commuter once in a while when it snows he drives 2hours back and forth.

Huggs,

Meghan

Ditch the tiguan! If Forester is a stick shift, keep it in the mix with Toyota and Honda. Just need to nudge him on the prices 🙂 On the CRV, make sure the A/C works properly as they have many A/C compressor failures. My wifes 2010 CRV failed at 112k miles. Otherwise great car and we have 156k now and take regular 400mile round trips to new hampshire frequently.
