- Hi Scotty. I recently purchased a 2019 RAV4. Can you tell me more about this fuel pump recall I've heard about? It appears the dealer doesn't have a solution yet.

They are going to have to replace all the fuel pumps because the company they buy it from denso messed up building them it's going to take a while because there's millions of them out there and it's not a two minute job. When you get the recall just contact a bunch of Toyota dealers and see which one is closest that can put a new pump in the quickest.but if I ever does die on the road then just have it towed to the dealer and they have to fix it free then
