First up automatic transmission, low pressure fuel pump was replaced, spark plugs replaced. Ever since I got my Yaris it vibrates to different levels of intensity. Most often this happens at higher speeds but it does happen if the car idles for a bit before driving. I notice that it goes away if you shift to its controlled shifting mode moving the shifter to the left side of drive putting that into second and the shifting back over to drive causes it to stop for about 2 seconds but then resumes, putting the car into park while idling also makes it stop. Is this something I should be concerned about? What should I ask them to look at if I take it to get repaired?
I forgot to say that it’s on the highway and then coming to a stop at a light and than idling that I feel it happen
27008 miles, sedan version. Vibration only happens when stoped at a light. It’s not a cvt.
See if your tires are out-of-balance and check the motor mounts.
OP has now updated the concern to "Vibration only happens when stoped at a light", do you have any other ideas?
