Scotty,
I recently purchased a new 2020 Camry SE and it now has about 5200 miles. Today on my lunch break I was in the car listening to music, and the radio suddenly died. I tried to turn the key and there was clicking sounds from the starter. I thought I simply run the battery down, but later in the afternoon, I was able to get the car started although it cranked very weakly. I got home and I realized the electric windows on the right side would not roll down, and the brake light was also out on the right side. Any ideas what this could be? Did I possibly get a bad Toyota?
Thank you!
Were you listening to music with the engine running or off?
The engine was off
Take it to a Toyota dealership the warranty might cover repairs.
Those kinds of things are common at low mileage have the dealer check it out and have them replace/repair whatever necessary under warranty.
You probably have a good Camry with an electrical problem. Have the dealership pull up a schematic and trace power and ground, from the fuse backward. Who knows what caused this? It could have been a rodent gnawing on a wire.
