I have a 2020 Civic LX 2.0 Manual and has 44k since Dec 19. As of late, starting around 39k or so I started to hear a pop when first rolling from a dead stop and if the car was not in use. At first was while backing up from parking spot and then turning the wheel left or right, now it does it when going forward too. Also my driveway has a incline from the road and that pop is heard when I climb the incline too. The pop is more of pressure release, or like the spring is biding. The car is stock! Any help?
Well sometimes the brake pads will Rust to the rotors when they sit overnight I wouldn't assume there'd be anything serious wrong with a Honda that new.but man do you drive you put more mileage on in less than a year then I put on in 10 years. If you really want to pinpoint the noise try my video finding the source of car noises Scotty
I am not sure is the brakes, since if I roll straight there is not pop. Only when I turn from on center! I am also in socal, and about 80 miles inland, so not much rust. Could it be end links, or strut mounts? Considering that it does on the incline?
The mileage is from going to Memphis, YellowStone, Seatle, Portland. I might be in January in TN, can I hire ya to troubleshoot/Fix?
