2020 Corolla hatchback ticking noise

Hello, 
I have my 2020 Corolla Hatchback with 28,000 miles making a very peculiar single “tick” noise when turning on the car. Only happens after it’s been sitting and the engine temp is cool. Toyota dealer stated it is “normal valve train noise” but I have an identical car with 60k miles and never heard this noise. Any direction would be great

Wow, sometimes the variable valve timing makes that click as they age. Many people drive them years and years that way, but of course it's not truly normal. As you've seen you had a similar car. Didn't make that noise
