Hey Scotty, I know Dodge isn’t a reliable brand but what is your opinion on a 2020 Challenger R/T with a standard transmission?

Fun car....while it lasts.
My 2014 Challenger R/T lost its first motor at under 40k miles, not to mention various other problems.
Shame, I love the style...but can never justify the purchase again.

Even with the manual transmission they are still garbage.

If you want to get one, just lease it and get out of your system, then return before the warranty expires. Remember, even if the powertrain was solid - the rest of the vehicle is poor FCA quality and overtime could potentially give issues (especially electrical). You always have to consider the whole vehicle , not just the powertrain.
