The dealer wants $16 per Denso spark plug. New ones on eBay has it for $5, made in China.
Is there a difference in performance? If so, how do I get genuine ones at best price?

Please don't buy Chinese spark plugs from eBay. $16 is nothing. Buy the good ones and sleep soundly for another 100k miles.

Believe it or not cars are actually particular with brands on electrical parts. Get Denso or NGK and stay away from eBay. The problem with eBay and Amazon is you can get brand name parts that are actually fake.
I agree with MMJ. Denso will last longer. Every time you change the plugs something can go wrong (like stripping the threads in the head). The fewer times you have to change them the better.
Look at RockAuto and Amazon (careful of knockoffs) for Denso or NGK - I bet they’ll be less than at the dealer.
Buying ANYTHING on Ebay is a crap shoot. You never really know what you're getting. And you basically have no recourse. Get your Denso or NGK at a local auto parts store so that if there is a problem, you can get some satisfaction. Keep your receipt!!!
