persistent rear suspension failure

over the last 8-10 month I have tried to diagnose and repair the following issue/issues:

1. rear of truck jumps or bounces to one side or the other when going over bumps in the road

2. i'm having to replace the drive side rear shock every couple of months, it starts leaking fluid and is scrapped up ( i tried multiple vendors ) they all do the same thing - note i do replace them in pairs when they are swapped out

3. there is a small faint thud/ sound in the rear when pulling out of the driveway each morning at an angle ( torqued maybe an inch or so)

I have taken the truck to two body shops, 3 different ford dealers, 2 independent mechanics, and two different truck performance centers, with out a successful diagnoses and repair - sometimes its in the shop 2 and 3 weeks at a time.

Mr. Kilmer and community,

do you have any idea how i might get a fix to the issues mentioned above?

3 different ford dealers

check your local lemon laws. I think Ford gets 3 tries at fixing it and then they have to buy it back.

We had a member here go through with that and win (surprise it was an F-150)
