I have a 1997 dodge Ram 1500 my headlights turn on but my dash lights won’t turn on and my tail lights won’t turn on but I can find the sweet spot with the switch and I can get my dash lights to turn on and my running lights will turn on but when I pull the knob all the way out to turn on my head lights but my dash and tail light won’t turn on I have checked all the fuses in the truck and there are no fuses blown what would be the problem?

I can find the sweet spot with the switch ... what would be the problem?
well that sure sounds like a switch problem, doesn't it?
