My 2020 Honda Civic LX (2.0 liter 4 cylinder naturally aspirated engine) has 51,000 miles on it and the valve cover gasket is leaking slightly. I don’t understand why this would be happening. I baby the car with frequent oil changes and regular maintenance. 85% of the mileage on the car is on the highway typically cruising at 80mph. Please explain why the gasket is failing prematurely.
