2020 Toyota Corolla with 000800km. Purchased with 000190km
Times when I hear and faint thud or clunk from front middle/front end:
-when I accelerate from a complete stop
-when im cruising on highway and let foot off gas or give gas
-when I shift from drive to reverse to back up. When it goes into reverse there is a half second delay and then I hear it
It does not happen every time I do these things but it happens every time I drive. Sometimes the clunk almost has a high pitch rattle.
I do have video with the sound but not sure if I can upload here. I appreciate any help in advance!!
Check the drive shafts for looseness. Maybe this car was assembled on a Monday morning or a Friday afternoon. Do you have a warranty?
it is still under warranty. I have an appointment this week at the dealership. I just wanted to know what it could be prior to bringing it is. Thanks so much for your thoughts!
Maybe not enough Transmission fluid. I know it is seal up behind the front wheels and supposed to be life time but sometimes life gives lemons. I am assuming your car is a CVT.
This seems to happen to a Yaris when there is a lack of TF.
Thanks for the reply. It is. CVT. It’s just that it is basically new which is why I’m not understanding how something could already be wrong! Thanks again
