2021 Kia Sorento XS Prestige (74,500 miles) - I've been experiencing this problem since I purchased the vehicle. Occasionally when starting the vehicle the 'auto engine off' light will blink. If I attempt to drive the vehicle, there is no power and the RPM's top out at 3,000 RPM and does not shift gears. If I turn the vehicle off, wait 5 seconds, and turn the vehicle back on, the issue goes away. I've cleared codes and changed my battery and the problem comes back occasionally. Any ideas on how to approach this?

surely you checked what the codes are before you cleared them, so you can find out what the problem is. Please post them.
Apologies regarding codes, there were no codes. I took the vehicle to Auto Zone and used their OBDII, no codes were returned. I bought my own OBDII a few weeks after and again, no codes. For troubleshooting, I changed my spark plugs (2024), replaced my battery (2024), and recently (June '25), disconnected the battery for 8 hours and reconnected, problem does return 'occasionally'.
@onekolcj1 You might want to check live data as well. Except for the very cheapest units even inexpensive code readers can access live data these days, many can even record in order to capture data while a problem is happening.
