Saw a post with similar/same problem. Took it in, no codes, so no findings. Last night took more than 3 tries to get it in reverse. This time, the "R" flashed on the gear shift. I've also experienced it lurching from park to drive frequently. I just took it back into dealer be looked at more thoroughly. Both times I brought into service, another Trail Blazer was directly behind me with issues, one of them being same as mine.
Curious how many others are experiencing the same issue? If it's the transmission, that's a pretty big problem to have. Glad it's a lease.
Okay, when the hour flashes that means there's a transmission trouble code stored in memory you have to start there and find out what the code is. Any mechanic can access that and there are many possible codes. Pray it's something like a bad transmission range sensor and not the transmission itself going out
