- Hi there. I'm deciding on whether to buy a used 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 classic or a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder SL. I tow a single jetski during the summer that probably weighs about 1100 pounds including the weight of the trailer. I'm worried about vehicles that were made during the pandemic and while the nissan is probably the more practical choice for my family and I (wife and 2 kids), I wonder if it has more complex electronics that could pose more issues down the road compared to the Ram.

Well, here's the thing I probably wouldn't buy either. Now. The Pathfinders were pretty good until they started putting those CVT transmissions. If that Pathfinder does not have a regular automatic but has a CVT transmission, I would not buy it. If it was a standard transmission, I'd buy it. But I wouldn't buy the Dodge anyway. They are garbage
