For the question you're asking, the Toyota Tundras have turbo problems at a surprisingly low miles. if I were you, I would wait for 2 or more years. If not, I would recommend leasing in case it might have any problems later on even though Toyotas are usually reliable.
When any vehicle gets a redesign the first couple of generations will have lot's of issues/growing pains, and this new Tundra has a huge redesign, mechanically and aesthetically. Toyota isn't immune to this, but usually figure things out quicker than most mfg.'s. If it's a concern, lease one instead of buying.
