Anyone have a 2022 Toyota Tundra? If so, what do you think of it?

Please do not triple post. Thank you.

It’s still too new for anyone to really comment on it.

Too new to say. They are nice, as I have already driven one. But who knows how the new powerplant will turn out down the road.

This truck looks like a Chevy that ran into a large cheese grater.

Probably you won't find totally mechanical advice but one place to look at is Tundra forums; it's a good place to start with as far as what those who own it think about it and also see what kinds of problems/complaints people are talking about. I'll link a couple below but I'm sure you can find many more if you search online.

I don't think no one in this forum owns a 2022 Tundra. So it's early to tell how reliable it is.

I'm in the market for a truck, so I have been following over the past several months.

Common theme in reviews so far: rides nice, acceleration is fine, off-road is fine, a few random new-model quality issues but nothing major, and gas mileage is better than the old one but not by much.

Long-term quality & reliability are, obviously, too soon to tell.  But a reasonable forecast: the new Tundra is much more complex than the old one, so it will likely be less reliable.  However, it is not more complex than other truck brands, on average, so will likely be slightly more reliable (given Toyota's better quality control methods).

Lots of recommendations out there to wait 6-12 months, if you can, which seems like good advice.

I think it's an eyesore

Eye of the beholder, but I mostly agree with you. Toyota is kinda stuck on that fu-manchu aesthetic.

I call it the child's toy aesthetic. They've been stuck on it for a while.

The only good looking Toyota product is the Lexus flagship luxury grand coupe LC500: beautiful, gorgeous curves all over including the interior.

the front of the LC500 is still too gaudy for me

Except for the "cow catcher" front grill.

The LC500 front grill looks like they borrowed it from Darth Vader.
