I'm considering buying a 2023 Toyota Highlander for my wife. I have a Lexus ES300h which I love. Any thoughts on whether I should get the Highlander Hybrid model vs. a straight gasoline version, which in the 2023 has moved from a 6 cylinder to a turbocharged 4-cylinder ?

Well nobody has an idea how long these 4 cylinder turbos last, they're too new just came out recently but I can guarantee these should have a same longevity as non turbo 6 cylinder as far as I'm concerned, as long you change oil and filter every 5,000 miles. As with the Highlander Hybrid, those engines are non turbocharged just same engine from Camry Hybrid. If you like the hybrid you're probably won't have any problems first owning a brand new hybrid there get that.
