I'm looking at buying a 2023 Toyota Kluger GX Hybrid AWD (eFour) here in Australia. It's a dealer-used car with 73,248 km on the clock, asking $45,980 AUD.
My plan is to use it mainly for Uber driving, so it'll see a lot of city/stop-start kilometres. I know Scotty isn't a big fan of hybrids, so I wanted to ask honestly:

Is the Toyota hybrid system (2.5L four-cylinder with eCVT and electric rear motor) dependable enough for high-mileage rideshare use, or am I asking for expensive battery/inverter problems down the road?

What should I check before buying — hybrid battery health, inverter coolant, any known issues with the 2023 Kluger Hybrid?
3.
Is 73,000 km in roughly 3 years a red flag (possibly ex-rental/fleet)?
4.
For non-stop city driving, would I honestly be better off with a regular petrol V6 Kluger or something like a Camry Hybrid instead?

They don't produce that model in the 'States, unfortunately. Given Toyota's track record, they've been producing the Prius for something like 25 years now, they are well-built cars when new.
The dealership is trying to sell the car, which means a lot of different people have driven that car. It was probably a dealer loaner. Take the car to a mechanic who specializes in hybrid vehicles and ask him to evaluate the vehicle. Dealer cars tend to be abused like rental cars.
