Hey, I love your YouTube Channel. I think I have watched every one since I found you. I just bought a 2026 Ford Explorer ST. I have a whopping 260 miles on it. I have noticed the Start/Stop function is not stopping the engine while stopped. It did at first. Now I like it not doing the stop function, but it brings up the question, should I be concerned about anything? The button is not selected and the function is on. Battery, charging system? There is nothing plugged in and yes I have had the AC on here in sunny Florida.
Also, is there a new car break in period like there used to be when I was growing up?
Thanks, Scotty!

Check your owner's manual for situations where the stop/start malfeature won't operate in the event that you've inadvertently triggered the change. (Such as a a "sport" mode drive setting if the vehicle has one.) If there is no apparent reason you could always have the dealer perform a full system scan to see if there is some kind of problem developing.
Cars today don't have official break-in periods but you should probably take it easy for the first 1000 miles and consider doing an oil and filter change at that point.
