Wanted to get thoughts on the 3.0L Ford ranger. Is it a good engine? How many many miles do they typically last? Is there a better year Ranger. Looking to spend about 5-6k$ Thank you.

they are decent engines of taking care of and if you're buying a used one do have a guy like me check out the old vehicle before you buy trust no one selling a used car

They are decent. How long it will go depends on how it has been maintained. Definitely have a pro check it out before you buy.
