Just wondering if any type of sealant could possibly fix or slow down the leak. It is a very small weep top left of timing chain cover. It only has 102,000 and is in very good condition. Curious if anybody has had any luck trying .Thanks
I believe the waterpump is driven by your timing chain If you have leaking from the cover that means the pump needs replaced. Your also likely getting water mixed in with your oil. You should stop driving it and get a mechanic to look at it ASAP.
Did further research, it’s belt driven thankfully, but you still need tomget a mechanic look at it. The pump mounts against the timing cover looks like. You likely need a new pump, or at minimum a new gasket on it.
There is no miracle in a can to fix this one. Cover and gasket needs replacement.
