Looking at a 2019 Toyota Corolla that has less than 500 miles on it. It was purchased new by an older woman that was going to use this as her retirement/forever car. Unfortunately she met an untimely end a friend's vehicle. I am working on buying the Corolla out of the estate.
I was told that she drove the Corolla around the block every week to keep the battery up, but she still used her old Toyota to go everywhere because she often took her big dog, and didn't want to mess up the new car.
What should I be looking out for due to it sitting so much? Should I change the oil immediately? Do I need to worry about continuing a break in period?

Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. Have it checked out by a competent mechanic and make your decision based on real information, not hearsay.
