Should I buy 3rd Gen (81-92) Camaro

Hi Scotty.

I'm looking for a fun car that's also a project that I can drive in good weather. I'm in the Northeast. I was wondering if the 3rd generation Camaros with the V8's and a standard transmission are a decent car for a younger person to buy?
