Good afternoon Scotty I wanted to share my success story with my 2007 Chevrolet Impala. I bought this car from my father with 160,000 miles on it for $2,000.00. I drive for a courier company in Kansas City and drive probably 10,000-12,000 miles a month. After driving this car for 2 years and a month I will have put over 250,000 miles on the car. So as of today I have 400,124 miles on it. I know in your videos you don’t like GM and said impalas are piles of junk; this one was made in Canada maybe that’s why it lasted longer. All the miles are mostly highway. I do regular oil changes and regular maintenance. The transmission fluid has never been changed. The only major thing done was a head gasket replacement at around 80,000 miles. No other major issues. I have replaced numerous tires, brakes, and wheel bearings. A few sensors oil pressure, throttle body, and maf sensor. Cold AC still not been recharged. The car has been a great car; it does need obvious repairs but still goes down the road.

Congratulations on joining the 400,000 mile club. You certainly beat the odds - no arguing that. But that’s probability/statistics for you. One good experience does not suddenly make those vehicles any more reliable, however.
Thank you 😊
Thanks for the story.
400k and still rolling on original automatic transmission WITH original fluid is truly a marvel. I would still change the filter on it though.
Thank you 😊
Anything that goes 400k on original parts is impressive. Congratulations!
Thank you 😊
